Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional for Thursday and Friday 11p-9a and Saturday 9p-9a in Pennsylvania. This role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them engage in daily activities with compassion and respect.

The DSP provides person-centered assistance, helps with daily living tasks, and ensures safety and advocacy. CPR certification is preferred, and pre-employment screenings apply. Benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ human, legal, and civil rights.

• Facilitate community engagement by accompanying individuals to work, recreational activities, and social events.
• Teach and support independent living skills, including household management and personal care.
• Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Foster social connections by supporting relationship-building within the community.
