Job summary

The Night Dietary Aide at Carle Health supports patient meals through tray assembly, delivery, dish and ware washing, and area sanitation. This role ensures accurate preparation and timely service in a hospital food service operation.

You will stock par levels, maintain clean production areas to Public Health District standards, and follow food handling guidelines while working with a dedicated health care team.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock food and small wares supplies according to the established par levels.
• Drop off patient tray carts to in a timely manner.
• Keep production preparation areas clean and sanitary using the established Public Health District standards.
• Follow guidelines for food handling and sanitation and ensure compliance.
• Prepares food and beverage requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete dish and ware washing duties as assigned.
• Pick-up patient trays from unit utility closetsMaintain dish room, ware washing area and tray assembly area in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Limit over production to minimum to control waste and food cost.
