Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst for the night shift in Tysons, VA, to monitor Air Gapped Security Fabrics and manage SECOPs operations. You will analyze events, coordinate with Tier 2 developers, and follow established security playbooks to protect critical environments.

Responsibilities include SIEM-based event analysis, ticket creation, and collaboration across teams to improve detections and incident response. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security, and/or Systems Administration.
  • Experience with SIEM, IDS, EDR, and Case Management Tools.
  • Experience with supporting operating systems, networking, scripting and automation, and Security Application troubleshooting.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring Operations Center IT infrastructure for a 24x7 mission critical SECOPs function.
  • Performing event analysis within SIEM and developing response tickets in case management tooling.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate with Tier 2 Analysts for event escalation and follow security playbooks.
  • Drive enhanced security posture through detections and response compliance.
  • A customer first attitude is a must.
