Job summary

MANTECH seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Network Analyst to join our Fort Meade, MD team. You will maintain insider threat software, analyze threats, and generate reports while collaborating with government stakeholders to ensure security and performance across enterprise applications.

The role requires hands-on network analysis, incident response experience, and proficiency with Splunk for creating knowledge objects and dashboards. A TS/SCI with Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Cybersecurity Threat Analysis experience in Cybersecurity techniques and Network Analysis.
• 1+ year with Splunk creating knowledge objects, robust queries/searches, reports and charts.
• Experience with TCP/IP fundamentals, Windows OS and supporting Office applications, real-world incident management and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Maintains integrity, security and availability of Insider Threat software; formats threat analysis reports and identifies events requiring follow-up action.
• Implements/maintains software and policies for security and integrity; monitors network logs for proper operation.
• Supports development of analysis, design requirements, database design, development and analysis activities.
• Performs regular database backups and baseline audits; develops simple queries and reports software bugs or defects for correction.
• Assists Government in building and deploying software; provides training and makes minor modifications to correct errors and improve performance; conducts software testing of releases.
