Job summary

Best Bath Systems Inc. is seeking a reliable janitorial professional to clean plants, offices, bathrooms, break rooms and to perform night security checks.

The role requires self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate courteously with customers, coworkers and vendors. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping, restocking supplies, maintaining equipment, and conducting safety and security checks.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year custodial or janitor experience plus some experience working as a guard or safety officer.
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and ability to work nights.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop office spaces/walkways; bathrooms, break rooms and conference rooms.
• Gather and empties trash and keep water or Gatorade filled in drinking bins.
• Services, cleans, and restocks supplies in restrooms.
• Cleans out refrigerators in break rooms.
• Maintains janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Mixes water, chemicals, or detergents to create cleaning solutions.
• Performs and monitors building security by walking around checking security alarms, doors and for hazards.
• Performs safety checks by locking doors and checking electrical appliances to ensure they are shut off.
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning duties.
• Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs to building or operating systems
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed
