Job summary

LaMain Industries, LLC is seeking a Night Custodian to maintain a clean and orderly environment during night shifts. The role supports federal, local, and commercial customers with facility cleanliness and basic upkeep in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sustain prolonged standing and bending. This part-time night position offers Health & Welfare benefits under a federal contract and other standard benefits.

• Stamina for prolonged standing and repetitive bending.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain commissary’s work, store, office, and restroom areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub floors, wax/polish floors, remove debris and trash.
• Dust equipment, furniture, and shelves; polish metal fixtures; clean lavatories.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks as required.

Job Skills/Requirements:

• Cleans and maintains commissary’s work, store, office, and restroom areas.
• Tasks include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, waxing and polishing floors, removing debris and trash, dusting equipment, furniture, and shelves, polishing metal fixtures, and cleaning lavatories.
• Performs minor maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Physical stamina for prolonged standing, repetitive bending, and other job-related activities.

Additional Information/Benefits:

• This position is governed by a federal contract. Employees receive a Health & Welfare (H & W) benefit per hour, as per the Service Contract Act (SCA), in addition to the hourly pay rate.
• Benefits include medical insurance, paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and retirement plans.
