Job summary

Bend Park and Recreation District in Bend, OR is seeking a reliable Custodian to keep recreation facilities clean, safe and welcoming for the community and staff. This role may perform light maintenance and drive between sites as needed. You will lead custodial tasks, operate cleaning equipment, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues.

The position is 25 hours per week with occasional evenings, weekends, and a 5% shift differential. Training and safety procedures provided.

Qualifications

• Public facility cleaning and sanitation knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possession of Oregon driver’s license within 30 days may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, janitorial and sanitation duties at facilities.
• Provide direction to new custodial staff and schedule adjustments.
• Maintain floors and report maintenance or repairs as needed.
