Job summary

Litchfield Elementary School District is seeking a Roving Night Custodian for the 2026/2027 school year. This part-time role covers campus cleaning tasks across district sites, with evening hours from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm depending on campus needs.

Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash, recycling, and disinfecting classrooms, restrooms, offices and gyms. The position is non-exempt with fingerprint clearance required and 11-month terms.

Qualifications

• Dust, vacuum, mop, trash & recycling duties across classrooms, restrooms, offices and gymnasiums.
• Disinfect surfaces and furniture to maintain a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Dust, vacuum, mop and remove trash & recycle.
• Clean classrooms, restrooms, offices, gymnasiums; move furniture as needed.
• Summer carpet cleaning and deep cleaning tasks.
