Job summary

WashU Medicine's Operations & Facilities Management Department is seeking a Custodian to support a safe, clean campus in St. Louis, MO.

This role performs cleaning tasks, waste disposal, and basic maintenance in offices and common areas while upholding PRIDE+ values. The position includes a 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with potential weekend work, safety training, and a chance to contribute to a large university facility network.

Qualifications

• No degree required for this position.
• No specific certification/professional license required for this position.
• No specific work experience required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash and waste to the appropriate compactor.
• Cleans bathrooms, sanitizes phones, desks, and common areas.
• Operates floor cleaners, vacuums, and mops; maintains floors and dusts work areas.
• Washes interior/exterior windows and changes light bulbs as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
