Job summary

WashU is seeking a Housekeeper to ensure cleanliness across campus facilities, including entryways, restrooms, common areas, stairwells, and dining spaces as needed. Duties include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, glass cleaning, trash removal, and linen replacement.

The position is on-campus in St. Louis, MO, 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend shifts and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. A self-motivated, independent worker with high standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas including entryways, restrooms, common areas, stairwells, and hallways.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe surfaces, and handle trash and linen replacement.
• Report maintenance needs and incidents to supervisor; follow safety and campus policies.
