Job summary

Miami University Alumni Association is seeking a Building and Grounds Assistant, Custodial at Shriver Center to provide custodial services and support events, helping maintain university buildings, facilities and grounds.

The role includes event set ups, trash collection, cleaning tasks, and possible equipment transport. Shift: Third Shift, 11:00p.m.–6:00a.m., 28 hours/week. A post-offer, pre-employment physical is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED
• No experience required
• May require driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Performs event set ups
• Picks up trash and/or litter from university buildings and grounds; empties trash receptacles
• May sweep and mop rooms and hallways; may dust and perform general cleaning of rooms; may clean windows
• May vacuum and shampoo carpets; may strip and wax floors; may clean and sanitize restrooms
• May pick up and/or deliver equipment and supplies
• May perform cleaning/washing duties.
