Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a part-time CT Technologist for the Cat Scan department in Somerville, NJ. The role focuses on CT procedures, patient safety, and teamwork under Radiology supervision.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration, and coordination of study entry in RIS/HIS. The position requires NJ license, ARRT, and CT certification within 12–24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• 3 years hospital experience preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Part-time availability required

Responsibilities

• Position patient for CT exams per SOP
• Assist radiologists during procedures
• Maintain equipment and supplies in radiology suite
• Enter studies in RIS/HIS and manage PACS tasks
• Ensure radiation safety and proper shielding
• Schedule and coordinate patient flow and contrast administration
• Mentor students and provide education where needed
