Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a part-time Cat Scan Technologist in Somerville, NJ. The role requires CT experience, NJ license, ARRT CT certification within 12–24 months, and CPR eligibility. Evenings, 24 hours/week with patient-centered focus and strict safety practices.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration under Radiologist, and coordinating RIS/HIS/PACS workflows. Rotating weekends and on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years hospital experience as a staff technologist preferred.
• Must have State of New Jersey License and ARRT CT certification obtained within 12–24 months of hire.
• CPR certified or willing to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Position patient to obtain study as prescribed by procedures.
• Prepare and ensure equipment readiness before examinations.
• Under Radiologist supervision, administer contrast as required.
• Protect patients and staff with proper radiation safety practices.
• Operate RIS/HIS entries and manage PACS for studies.
