Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. You will produce CT images, assist with CT guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Requires Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT CT credential or within one year, and Ohio Radiographer License (ODH). Night shifts are 7pm-7am, 5x12 hour blocks every two weeks, with every-other Sunday; sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic, and cardiac anatomy
• IV starts
• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings
• Assisting with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On the spot critical thinking
• Effective communication skills
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team
