Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Computed Tomography Technologist (CT)
• ARRT CT certification within 12 months if not currently CT certified
• Graduation from an AMA-approved radiology program
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains CT imaging equipment per policy
• Explains procedures and positions patients to obtain quality images
• Identifies, prepares and administers medications as allowed
• Maintains documentation and records in paper and electronic formats
• Performs quality assurance and radiation safety to minimize exposure
• May assist other radiology areas as needed
• Performs routine maintenance and checks on imaging equipment
