Qualifications

• Certified as a Computed Tomography Technologist.
• If not CT Certified, cross training to become CT Certified within 12 months.
• Certified in general radiologic technology by ARRT.
• Current BLS certification valid for at least 60 days beyond start date.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and explains standard procedures.
• Operates and maintains imaging department equipment.
• Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures.
• Administers medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Completes quality assurance processes and practices radiation safety.
• Maintains required documentation in both paper and electronic formats.
