Job summary

MaineGeneral Health’s Alzheimer’s Care Center in Gardiner is seeking a Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to provide compassionate, supervised medication administration and basic resident care.

As a CNA/CRMA, you’ll work a nights shift at the Gardiner location, 32 hours/week, with RN oversight and opportunities for growth. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a genuine desire to support memory-impaired residents.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CRMA certification.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to work with residents living with memory loss.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities and administers medications.
• Distributes medications to residents per physician orders and completes required documentation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
