Pacific Clinics in Grass Valley, CA seeks a Crisis Response Team member to provide immediate crisis intervention and stabilization services. You will respond to emergency requests with law enforcement and community partners, de-escalate crises, and ensure safety for clients and others on-site or in the field.

The role requires shift-based work, potential restraint certification, and coordination with CSU/receiving facilities.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required;1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Speak, read, and/or write another language may be required by some programs/areas.
• Employees may need to pass a physical abilities test and crisis intervention certification within the first 30 days and annually.

Responsabilidades

• May support mental health crisis hotline by gathering information, supporting callers and identifying needs related to current crisis situation.
• Participates in information gathering and decision making related to involuntary psychiatric holds as Lanterman Petris Short laws and regulations.
• Provides direct billable mental health services, documents in alignment with MediCal regulations, and achieves set productivity expectations.
• Engages and supports family members and other natural supports in the midst of an acute psychiatric crisis including psychoeducation on de-escalation strategies and safety planning.
• Facilitates transport of individuals on 5150 holds and provides clinical information to accepting hospitals or CSU facilities; remains with client until transport arrival.
• Identifies triggers and unmet needs; develops risk management and safety plans to stabilize behaviors.
• Provides linkage, referrals and resources in the community based on identified needs.
