Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. (Safeway) is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves filled and the store ready for customers. Day shifts involve stocking, organizing, and helping customers; overnight shifts focus on deliveries and resetting displays with no customers present.

You will also move products from backroom to floor, rotate inventory, and maintain clean, safe work areas while following store policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers with proper training and safety.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves on the sales floor and keep products organized for customers.
• Assist customers with questions and locating items on the floor.
• Prepare store overnight by handling deliveries, stocking and resetting displays.
• Move products from backroom to sales floor and rotate inventory.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety guidelines.
