Mercy is seeking an Evening/Night shift Food Service Associate to prepare and serve nutritious meals for patients, staff and visitors in a sanitary, caring environment.
You will follow recipes using the CBORD system, maintain clean and organized work areas, and uphold food safety procedures and proper handling at all times.
Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or Culinary Arts training, and ServSafe certification is preferred; Mercy values teamwork and reliability.

This position supports Mercy’s philosophy of patient centered care by serving fresh, nutritious food in a caring manner to patients, family and staff. Responsible for the preparation and service of fresh and flavorful foods for patients, families, employees, volunteers and physicians in an attractive and sanitary manner. Properly cleans and sanitizes work area. Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to department as well as regulatory guidelines.
Follows Mercy’s safety guidelines, carries out job-specific safety duties and responsibilities, and promptly reports any unsafe conditions, situations, incidents and injuries.
Medium: Exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10-15 lbs. of force frequently
