Job summary

Responsible for the preparation and service of fresh and flavorful foods for patients, families, employees, volunteers and physicians in an attractive and sanitary manner. Properly cleans and sanitizes work area. Maintains a safe work environment and adheres to department as well as regulatory guidelines.Job DescriptionJob Duties Prepare food for patients, staff, and special functions. Work with CBORD program in order to follow recipes to ensure consistent products. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Make food in a manner consistent with proper food handling procedures. Communicate effectively with co-workers as well as managerial staff.Follows Mercy's safety guidelines, carries out job-specific safety duties and responsibilities, and promptly reports any unsafe conditions, situations, incidents and injuries.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Capable of independent decision making.
