Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Newbury Park, CA. You will monitor security systems, document incidents, and respond rapidly to threats, ensuring safety of people and property across multiple environments such as security operations centers and parking areas.

Ideal candidates have a valid BSIS Guard Card and 32-hour BSIS trainings, strong observation and reporting skills, and a focus on detail.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) with 32hr BSIS trainings
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus
• Proficiency with technology
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
