What you can expect...

Cogir Senior Living is hiring an experienced, diligent, and customer-focused Night Concierge/Security Guard for our premier retirement community, Cogir of South Bay.

This position will support the community by providing front desk coverage on the night shift, representing the community at an extraordinary level by consistently being pleasant and helpful to everyone walking through the doors. In addition, the Concierge/Security Guard will make rounds of the community, including interior and exterior, and monitor cameras, detecting and reporting concerning activity. They will assist all residents, team members, and visitors and will ensure the overall safety of the community's residents and staff.

What will you do as a Night Concierge-Security Guard?

• Answer a multi-line telephone, directing/answering resident and vendor questions or inquiries to the appropriate person.
• Greet all families, residents, and guests with a smile.
• Authorize entrance of family, vendors, and guests.
• Inspects and rounds the community regularly throughout the shift.
• Ensure all exits, doors, and windows are secured and suspicious activity-free.
• Respond to alarms and react promptly in emergencies.
• Supports management and their request with tasks and/or projects.
• Completes work order requests.
• Enters all data entry as assigned.
• Submits reports.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A current guard card is required.
• 1-2 years of previous safety experience in a hospitality or senior living setting, preferably in a front desk and/or night security position.
• Great attention to detail and high integrity.
• Ability to stay alert, make decisions, remain calm in stressful situations, and react fast in emergencies.
