Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in St. Henry, OH is seeking a CNC Cutter / Grinder for the Monday–Thursday night shift (9:00 PM–7:00 AM). The role focuses on regrinding, reconditioning, and manufacturing precision cutting tools while receiving hands-on training from experienced teammates.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math, and the ability to read blueprints and prints; training and career growth are emphasized within a strong, safety‑conscious shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong reading of blueprints and prints.
• Ability to follow work orders and inspect tools to print specs.
• Good math skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to train and assist other associates.

Responsibilities

• Regrind, recondition, and manufacture cutting tools according to work instructions.
• Set up grinding equipment for each work order.
• Grind tools to print and quality specifications.
• Inspect completed tools using prints and measuring equipment.
• Read blueprints and work order instructions.
• Return tooling to designated locations after each job.
• Report daily production updates to Shop Supervisor.
• Help train new associates as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and shop projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
