Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking a CNA for night shift to support patient care and collaborative nursing teams. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and help ensure safety and quality care in a top-rated hospital environment.

You will work under nursing staff direction, participate in team communication, and uphold high safety standards while pursuing career growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Current Oklahoma Certified Nurse Aide license.
• BLS is required prior to beginning orientation or working on a floor.
• Experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• De‑escalation (TEAM) training completed within 6 months of hire.
• Assist with activities of daily living i.e., bathing, skin care, dressing, feeding, ambulating, transporting, and bed changing.
• Take and record vital signs and I&O’s, apply ice bags, aqua K pads, and specialty appliances.
• Complete or review worksheet of assignments for patient care within 30 minutes of shift change.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on age-related criteria.
• Obtains and documents vital signs as instructed per policy and nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in care of hospital patients under the direction of nursing and the medical staff.
• Promote teamwork among co-workers.
• Support bedside care within CNA scope and document essential information.
