Job summary

United Church of Christ Homes is seeking a full‑time CNA for the night shift (11pm–7am) to assist residents with daily care per care plans, under supervision. The role requires PA CNA certification and the ability to work a 52.5+ hour biweekly schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and reporting changes. The team adheres to infection control standards and resident rights are protected.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required (PA).
• Ability to perform daily nursing tasks per care plans.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and assisting with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as directed by supervisors and care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Participate in shift handoffs and nursing reports.
• Follow infection control standards.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Position residents and reassist to promote comfort and function.
• Perform restorative activities per care plan (ROM, ambulation).
• Record vital signs and report changes promptly.
• Monitor residents and respond to calls.
• Assist in emergency evacuations if needed.
