Job summary

Novant Health’s Surgery 1 team in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the night shift. This full-time role (7pm–7am) at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center offers compassionate leadership, low turnover, and a strong sense of camaraderie, with opportunities to grow clinical skills in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, and one year of experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: One year preferred in long-term care or assisted living.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program; listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I; Medication Safety - AME; NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
