Job summary

Partners In Care is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide personal care at Hospice House in Bend, OR. You will work 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, 2–12 hour shifts per week (24 hours total), with a weekend/weekday rotation based on needs.

The role includes caring for patients, assisting with mobility, meals, and daily tasks under supervision. Requirements include a valid CNA license, ability to pass background, drug screen, TB test, CPR certification, and a valid Oregon driver’s license with reliable

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license.
• Ability to pass a background test, drug screen, and TB test.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• One to two years of recent medical care experience in an institutional setting is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess 1-2 years of home health or hospice experience.
• Current automobile insurance is required. A valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Compassion, empathy, and dedication to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care according to the care plan, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
• Assess patients before and after treatment and work closely with a care manager or nurse to keep the care plan updated and accurate.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and positioning, and guide family members or caregivers.
• Prepare and serve meals, help with feeding, and perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and their families.
