Partners In Care is seeking a compassionate CNA for Hospice House in Bend, OR. You will deliver personal care per the care plan, assist with mobility and daily activities, and support family members while maintaining patient comfort.

Requirements include a valid CNA license, background check, TB test, and CPR. Hospice/home health experience is preferred; valid Oregon driver license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent medical care in an institutional setting; hospice/home health experience preferred.

Schedule: Thursday-Sunday (4 shifts), have 7 days off, then work Monday-Tuesday (2 shifts) before the rotation repeats. *current schedule available, subject to change.

Hours: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

What You Get to Do:

As a CNA at Hospice House, you'll provide personal care according to the care plan, ensuring patient comfort and privacy. You'll assess patients before and after treatment and work closely with a care manager or nurse to keep the care plan updated and accurate. You'll assist with personal care, mobility, and positioning, and guide family members or caregivers. Additionally, you'll prepare and serve meals, help with feeding, and perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and their families.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid CNA License.
• Ability to pass a background test, drug screen, and TB test.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• One to two years of recent medical care experience in an institutional setting is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess 1-2 years of home health or hospice experience.
• Current automobile insurance is required. A valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Compassion, empathy, and dedication to patient care.

Work Environment:

• May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases. Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances.
• May be exposed to/occasionally exposed to patient elements. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
• Handles emergency or crisis situations.
• OSHA exposure category 1: Position includes tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues.
• Required Personal Protective Equipment as conditions warrant:Gloves, gown, mask, mask with shield, goggles, shoe covers, bouffant cap.
