Job summary

Armor Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for Night PRN shifts to join our team. You will assist with direct patient care and support clinicians in a correctional healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate has CMA training, CPR certification, EMR proficiency, and the ability to pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen. Night hours require reliability and strong teamwork to deliver safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Completed Medical Assistant program with certification and EKG.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficient with electronic medical records systems.
• Able to pass pre-employment Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks.
• Assists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs, prepares charts and assists with medical examinations.
• Assists doctors in examining and treating patients.
• Performs routine procedures under established protocols (to include but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG's, dressing changes, wound cultures, IM injections).
• Maintains and stocks medicines and medical supplies as necessary.
• Practices safety, environmental and infection control methods.
