Job summary

Join UCLA Health's West Hills Hospital as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist and contribute to high‑quality patient care through precise laboratory testing. You will perform and interpret tests across multiple disciplines and ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and effective collaboration with healthcare teams.

The role involves night shifts (Mon–Fri, 9:00pm–5:30am) with rotating weekends/holidays; salary ranges with shift differentials and bonus opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work an alternative schedule (e.g. Tue–Sat, 11:00pm – 7:30am) based on operational needs.
• Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a wide range of moderate and high‑complexity tests across Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis and Blood Bank.
• Ensure quality standards, troubleshoot instrumentation, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with care teams.
