Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a flexible Unit Secretary who will be cross-trained to perform Unit Secretary duties and at least one other clinical support role under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will deliver excellent customer service, handle clerical tasks, monitor and stock supplies, and help maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

This position may require night shifts at Blount Memorial Hospital in the Medical Telemetry department.

Qualifications

• Education - Completion of a nursing assistant class.
• Experience - No experience required.
• CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support at the nurse’s station.
• Assist with patient care related to data collection and basic nursing procedures.
• Monitor, stock, and organize supplies for unit operations.
• Perform reception duties and respond to patient calls with professionalism.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and functional clinical environment.
