Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of nursing assistant, patient care tech, medical assistant, EMT, Paramedic, surgical tech, phlebotomy, military medical corpsman or nursing fundamentals course preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Previous experience as nursing assistant, PCT, MA, EMT, Paramedic, Surgical Tech, Phlebotist, Medical Corpsman or nursing student is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs unit secretary duties at the nurse’s station and supports basic nursing assistant tasks as needed.
• Handles reception, data entry, meeting minutes, bulletin boards, and downtime forms.
• Assists with patient care activities under RN supervision and ensures patient safety and comfort.
