UNC Health Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide competent nursing care on the 3rd Floor Medical/Surgical unit (33 beds). The role supports care coordination within a strong team focused on patient and family outcomes.

Full-time, on-site, 3 twelve-hour shifts (0645-1915, 1845-0715) with every other weekend. Requires NC RN license and BLS; salary range $34.22-$48.38/hr, with benefits and incentive options.

Qualifications

• Must have completed nursing education from an accredited school.
• Must hold a North Carolina RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Educates patients and families and assesses learning needs.
• Evaluates care and adjusts plans with interdisciplinary team input.
• Delivers competent nursing care for patients with complex problems.
• Leads when appropriate to promote professional growth and unit goals.
• Assesses patient data to determine priorities and discharge needs.
