RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician for the Post Intensive Care Unit-II at RWJUH Somerset in Somerville, NJ. The role supports RNs with hands-on patient care, including vital signs and mobility, while maintaining a safe environment in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CNA preferred or clinical experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Nursing assistant experience or CNA certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and bedside care.
• Monitor patient vitals and comfort, support nursing care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in EHR with confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Communicate with patients, families and care team to coordinate plans.
