Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience in healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers service to internal and external customers by meeting standards for accountability, quality and safety; demonstrates commitment to hospital mission.
• Performs delegated nursing skills including activities of daily living and monitoring patient condition.
• May perform skills within the scope of unlicensed assistive personnel; communicates outcomes to RN and healthcare team.
• Performs unit-based assignments such as patient admission/discharge procedures and environmental tasks.
• Performs and documents point-of-care testing, patient mobility, hygiene, and daily care needs.
• Assists with patient transport.
• Performs clerical duties with hospital equipment and maintains safety procedures.
