Job summary

Facilities is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe facility. Responsibilities include mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, restroom servicing, and trash/recycling disposal.

Ideal candidates will have prior cleaning experience, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and a strong attention to detail. The role emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a Cleaner or Janitor preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling; replace liners and keep receptacles clean.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, work areas, and high-touch surfaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors per cleaning route.
• Inspect areas for items of value and place found items on nearby surfaces.
• Report mechanical/electrical issues to supervisor.
• Report damaged items during shift.
• Move carts and equipment safely along cleaning sequence.
• Vacuum and mop elevator lobbies, hallways, and common areas as assigned.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
