Schreiber Foods in Mount Vernon, MO, is seeking a 12-hour night shift Machine Operator for cheese production. The role involves setting up and operating a cheese-producing machine, monitoring quality checks, and following GMP and safety guidelines.

Training may occur on days initially, with mandatory overtime, weekend work, and a $2 night differential. Qualifications include reading/writing English, basic math, and possible forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must possess basic math, counting, calculator and basic computer skills.
• Forklift driving skills may be necessary.
• Willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Training can be completed in about 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a cheese-producing machine.
• Monitor equipment and perform quality checks to meet customer requirements.
• Follow safety, food safety, and GMP guidelines; wear PPE.
• Maintain good attendance and be on time for shifts.
• Participate in process improvement and PE/SPS initiatives.
