Job summary

Bongards is hiring full-time Cheese Packagers for our Perham, MN facility. Most openings are PM shifts on a 12-hour schedule (6 PM–6 AM). Pay starts at $26.27/hour with increases to $27.85 after the first year; night shift differential applies.

Benefits include PTO, 401(k) with company match, insurance options, EAP, profit sharing, and internal career opportunities. Shifts are organized into two teams; one team works Mon-Tue and weekends on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Commitment to food safety and employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate block towers and barrel line and related equipment.
• Use forklift to transfer barrels to the cooler.
• Operate boxer and related equipment.
• Monitor quality of blocks during formation.
• Perform sanitation procedures and maintain arena cleanliness.
• Keep accurate, timely records and maintain clean work area.
• Report quality and safety concerns to supervisor.
