Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a Clinical Charge Nurse for the Oncology Unit to direct daily operations during the night shift and ensure safe, high-quality patient care. You will lead an interdisciplinary team, participate in physician rounding, and manage staffing and bed flow in a 28-bed inpatient oncology unit.

Candidates must be licensed RNs and familiar with WellStar nursing practice models and standards to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia.
• Compliant with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily unit activity on assigned shift to ensure safe care.
• Coordinate staff schedules and unit patient flow; provide leadership and mentorship to team.
• Participate in interdepartmental rounds and physician rounding to support high-quality patient care.
