Job summary

Houston Healthcare in Georgia is seeking a Charge Nurse to plan, coordinate, and direct the daily operations of a clinical unit during the night shift. You will supervise staff, collaborate with physicians and administration, and ensure delivery of patient and family-centered care.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, active RN license in Georgia, and at least two years of recent nursing experience with leadership in a specialty area. BLS is required; ACLS may be required depending on department.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program and active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience and 2 years in the area.
• Valid RN license per Georgia Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required by department.

Responsibilities

• Mentor other RNs to the role and functions of Charge Nurse.
• Lead and coordinate team behavior; develop leadership skills.
• Provide direction on policies, scheduling, assignments, and daily operations.
• Complete performance reviews with Nurse Manager input.
