Responsibilities

• Is a primary clinical resource for staff on assigned unit.
• Is a mentor for staff and represents unit leadership.
• Provides leadership and problem-solving for staff decisions.
• Manages staff and patient flow; prioritizes care based on acuity.
• Coordinates care in high-risk or emergent situations with leaders aware of issues.
• Promotes collaboration with physicians, other providers, and departments.
