Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL, part of the Universal Health Services family, is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse for the Palma Sola Free-Standing Emergency Department. This full-time night position focuses on planning, directing and coordinating nursing care with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in the ED, supervisory experience preferred, and current Florida RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification and CPI within 6 months

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• ASN is required.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide direct/indirect nursing care to patients and families under the supervision of the Nursing Director.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate other nursing personnel to ensure adherence to policies and standards.
