Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL, invites an experienced RN to join the Palma Sola Free-Standing Emergency Room team for weekend night shifts. The ideal candidate will have ED experience and Florida RN licensure, plus BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke certifications. CPI within 6 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
• Current PALS through American Heart Association.
• Current TNCC Certification.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.
• CPI required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid in patient health and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
