Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to support night-time regional deliveries in Missouri. You will transport empty trailers to operating locations and return with full trailers to domicile yards, operating under DOT regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip checks, safe driving, securing loads, and accurate dispatch documentation. This role requires a CDL A with Doubles, 21+ years old, and ability to work Sunday through Thursday nights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test; DOT Health Card required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer and comply with DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and needed repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies; secure freight and inspect loads.
• Ensure route paperwork is correct and available at dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to schedule; hook/unhook safely.
• Maintain clean and organized equipment and surroundings.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per regulations and internal policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
