Job summary

Sage Park Senior Living in Austin, TX, is seeking an Assisted Living Resident Caregiver to join the Resident Care team on a PRN basis. You will help with daily living activities, support dining and programs, and ensure high-quality care for residents.

Key duties include assisting with personal care, daily housekeeping, and responding to emergencies, while maintaining infection control and resident rights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/Home Health Aide preferred, but not required.
• Medication assistance certification per state regulations preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks per established procedures.
• Review 24 Hour Reports and shift reports as needed.
• Assist residents to scheduled programs and activities.
• Promote independence and resident preferences.
• Perform laundry duties as assigned.
• Respond to emergency calls promptly.
• Ensure compliance with new care protocols.
• Report changes to Wellness Nurse or Director immediately.
• Maintain infection control practices.
• Report accidents/incidents promptly to supervisor.
• Honor residents' personal and property rights.
• Be prepared for emergencies and disasters.
• Maintain uniform and resident-ready appearance.
