Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare in Provo, Utah is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team on the night shift. This part-time, PRN role includes assisting with basic patient care, documentation, and coordination with RNs.

The successful candidate will have CNA certification with BLS, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care such as toileting, bathing, linen and clothing changes, and assistance with comfort needs.
• Report changes in patient condition promptly and document findings.
• Assist with unit coordination, transport medications, and collaborate with the RN and care team.
• May perform health unit coordinator tasks such as answering phones and managing unit records.
