Harper House, run by Phoenix Futures Scotland, is seeking a Night Care Worker to organise and facilitate the evening Therapeutic Community programme and monitor risk while providing waking night cover.
You will co-ordinate residents' tasks, help prepare for the daily programme and supervise medication administration as required.
This part-time role (37.5 hours per week) includes shifts such as 10-hour shifts and one 11.5-hour shift, with competitive pay and benefits.
Your role in our therapeutic community will be key. You willorganise and facilitate the evening running of the Therapeutic Community programme in the National Specialist Family Service. You willco-ordinate the service users’ tasks and activities. You willprovide waking night cover, ensuring that risk is monitored and minimised. You willorganise and facilitate the residents in preparing for the daily programme and activities. You willmonitor and administer medication to service users.
Previous experience is desirable, however not essential. Night Care Workers come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and you may have the skills required. We are seeking dedicated individuals, based on your values, willingness to learn new skills and the compassion to deliver the best service possible to our residents.
This is a part-time role of 37.5 hours per week on average.You will be expected to work a rolling rota which includes 10 hours shifts and 1x 11.5 hours shift per week.

The service was formally opened by the then First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, on November 21, 2022, in a partnership with the Scottish Government. In our first year, we have supported more than 21 families and 30 children, and have been featured as Ayrshire Community Trust’s service of the month.
