State of Missouri is seeking a Support Care Assistant to join a team providing one-on-one care for consumers in a residential setting in Poplar Bluff, MO. The role emphasizes direct care, daily living activities, and collaboration with nurses to support health and well-being.

Shifts run 7:00 pm to 7:00 am with some overtime. Applicants should have 1-2 years of relevant experience, passing a background screening, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience providing hands-on direct care to clients including observations, treatment, and monitoring.
• Assist clients with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, bed making, dressing and related tasks.
• May be responsible for passing medications after facility certification; background checks required.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on, direct care to clients including observations and monitoring.
• Assist with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and personal care.
• Coordinate scheduling and supervision when required in the absence of a supervisor.
• Develop and implement habilitation or treatment plans.
• Support client skill development in self-help, play, education, and socialization.
• Monitor basic health tasks such as vitals, height/weight, and fluid intake.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for client care.
• Report to work on schedule and be available for overtime as needed.
• Maintain records and reports as required.
