Job summary

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is hiring a Bottling Operator Nights in Paterson, WA to support winemakers and night production teams in the final stage of bottling quality control. The role requires physical stamina, ability to operate bottling line equipment, and adherence to safety standards.

Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $21.40 per hour with a night-shift differential. Benefits include healthcare, paid vacation, a 401(k) match, and employee wine discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• One–two years previous experience in liquid bottling preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds intermittently.
• Must be available to work variable (12) hour night shift schedules.
• Requires some knowledge or experience in the general maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Stand for long periods of time - up to a full shift.
• History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Perform all job functions in strict adherence to company Health and Safety protocols, and in accordance with quality control standards and standard equipment operating procedures.
• Operate, troubleshoot and repair basic malfunctions on equipment such as casepacker labeler, palletizer, depalletizer, capsule machine, inserter, filler and mobile bottling line with moderate supervision.
• Perform basic startup and shutdown functions for designated bottling line equipment.
• Conduct routine equipment and quality checks to ensure proper flow of materials: labeling and packs are correct and line jams are cleared.
• Assist with line changeovers under supervision of lead/supervisor.
• Operate equipment with commitment to product quality and production efficiency.
• Engage in non-equipment tasks: packing/repacking, sanitizing, glass removal and supporting mobile bottling line operations.
